Is a VPN legal in Canada?
Yes. VPN use is fully legal in Canada for individuals and businesses, with no federal or provincial law restricting it. As with every other legal jurisdiction, using a VPN to carry out an activity that would already be illegal without one — fraud, unauthorised access, and so on — remains illegal regardless of the VPN.
